Receptionist

As a Receptionist at Goodwins Hall Care Home, you will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, face to face or via the telephone to the Home.

About the role: 
Reporting to the home's Admin Manager, the Receptionist will ensure that the overall presentation of the reception provides a friendly, welcoming and professional image of the home so that all visitors to the home feel welcomed. 

Salary: 
£12.71 per hour. 

Shift Pattern: 
37.5 hours per week, worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.

Home Location: 
Goodwins Road, King's Lynn, England, PE30 5PD. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Answering incoming telephone calls and ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
• Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including, responding to emails, copying, faxing and taking notes.
• Ensure that residents receive their post and prepare all outgoing post on a daily basis.
• Any additional duties as assigned by the Home Admin Manager. 

Training, Skills & Experience Required: 

• Experience working within a receptionist position is essential.
• Working within a care home environment is highly advantageous.
• Excellent written, non-verbal and verbal communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of and competence in Microsoft Office applications and Windows based operating environments – Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Explorer.
